Subject: "Collections for people" report published
Just to let you know that the report, Collections for people: museums' stored collections as a public resource, is published.

You can find the online pdf files on the website, www.ucl.ac.uk/storedcollections/ <http://www.ucl.ac.uk/storedcollections/>, or from the Collections Trust's Collections Link site,
<http://www.collectionslink.org.uk/use_collection>

The Collections Trust is distributing hard copies if you would prefer that format. (It does look very smart, though I say it myself.)

The Museums Association is currently planning the conference, which will be on 27th January 2009, in London. We hope this will be an interesting and informative occasion.

Over the next few weeks I shall be putting the research data (anonymised) on the research website in case anyone wants to take the research forward, as I hope they will.

with best wishes

Suzanne
