that's terrific, paul.
i think your piece "the terminal poet" at
http://greatworks.org.uk/poems/ttp1.html is amazing. the text is superb. i
don't even need to hear it as audio.
your piece 'the gestalt bunker' from the seventies at
http://www.culturecourt.com/Audio/PG/DNA/The%20Gestaltbunker.mp3
is very contemporary in its portrait of a writer involved in the avant of
communications. this piece has got to be resonant with contemporary
writers--and is one of the best 'spoken word' poems i've heard.
'directions to the dead end' (
http://www.culturecourt.com/Audio/PG/DNA/Directions%20to%20the%20Dead%20End.
mp3
), also from the seventies, is another piece of yours i have enjoyed for
many years having first heard it, like 'the gestalt bunker', in the mid
80's.
you have been producing this mature, edgy, distinctive work for thirty+
years.
i always look forward to more.
