Hello,
This is off-topic, but I know that many members of the list are interested
in the development of weapons and I was hoping someone could point me in the
right direction.
I am looking for information on the development of a particular type of
crossbow called a "slurbow". This was a crossbow where the bolt travelled
down what was essentially a barrel. Lookat at Figure 84 on this page;
http://euriskodata.com/products/CROSSBOW.htm
I have Ralph Payne-Gallwey's book on crossbows, that devotes an entire
chapter on slurbows. I was hoping to find references to more recent
research.
Thanks for any help.
Bart
