Contribute to the development of long-term goals and operating policies
for the Statistical Reporting organization.
Contribute to the development of the Clinical Information Systems
organization through his/her global leadership role on the management
team.
Lead Statistical Reporting strategy for the group.
Manage Therapeutic Area portfolios globally.
Manage timeliness, quality and preparation of statistical reporting
deliverables and ensure that they comply with Clinical Information
Systems, Therapeutic Area and regulatory guidelines globally.
Establish and maintain working relationship with partners and customers.
Manage resources within the assigned group and share resources as needed
with other programming groups to ensure optimal SR support across TAs.
Initiate and support continuous improvement initiatives within CIS and
cross functionally.
Ensure that relevant SOPs/NIPs/Working practices are in place and
followed.
Review the planned contents of tables/listings/figures for SCE/SCS and
project level documents to ensure efficient production and usefulness of
output.
Recruit talent, coach and develop reports.
May act as Site Head for Statistical Reporting.
Minimum requirements Post-graduate university or college degree in Life
Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science,
Medical Informatics or equivalent.
Fluent English (oral and written).
At least 10 years experience in global drug development, including at
least 3 years in a senior programming / statistical role within the
pharmaceutical industry.
Experience with matrix management and global environment.
Excellent knowledge of drug development process.
Track record in successful project management.
Knowledge of Health Authority guidelines.
Good knowledge of statistical programming languages.
Proven ability to supervise others.
Proven ability to lead high impact global cross functional teams.
Proven ability to proactively identify issues communicates awareness and
recommend/implement solutions.
Strong knowledge and understanding of scientific background of Therapeutic
Area, of global and local policies, procedures and practices
