Dear Zhiqiang Zhang,
Your message was send to me by John Ashburner, hence I hope you don't
mind I send you a direct reply. Concerning your question about the
conversion of a statistical *.vmp file to Analyze format the following.
_Export to new NIfTI format_
Via the "nifti converter plugin" it is possible to export your *.vmp
files to the successor of Analyze 7.5: NIfTI. NIfTI comes in two forms,
either as *.hdr/*.img or as one file with *.nii extension. The current
export functionality in the "nifti converter plugin" creates one *.nii
file. The image(s) will be reoriented to the NIfTI coordinate system.
The "nifticonverter" plugin (Windows *.dll/*.dylib for Mac OS X (*.so
for Linux will follow)) can be downloaded from the NIfTI & GIfTI page on
the BrainVoyager wiki at:
http://wiki.brainvoyager.com/NIfTI
The installation and usage is described in the "niftiplugin manual" that
can be downloaded from the same site. Links to informational sites about
the NIfTI data format can be found there as well.
The *.vmp format changed in BrainVoyager QX 1.9. Therefore, and also in
general, take care that the plugin was built for the particular version
of BrainVoyager that you are using.
_Export to classic Analyze 7.5 format_
In old BrainVoyager 2000 versions, and from BrainVoyager QX 1.9.10 and
higher, it is possible to export a *.vmp file to Analyze 7.5 format via
the BrainVoyager File > Export To Analyze Format. The image(s) will not
be reoriented. Also, the 'BVQXtools' toolbox for Matlab by Jochen Weber
might contain certain conversion functions for Analyze data. It can be
downloaded from our wiki at http://wiki.brainvoyager.com/BVQXtools.
I hope this answer helps you some further. In case of questions, please
don't hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
Hester Breman
