Absolutely fascinating, Stephen, & your reportage, so to speak,
careful, charged.
My mother died when she was 90 (in 1991), & I was far away at the
time, but she had been clear headed to the end. We talked about the
world when I phoned her each week; she kept up by listening to CBC
radio every day. I never read her poetry, though.
