Although not particularly helpful in this instance, I usually look for
children's books on the US Amazon Advanced Search for books. There, you
can narrow your search by age group. It makes things much easier (far
less to wade through).

I couldn't find anything about a grandparent moving but there are books
about a friend moving that might help: eg Aliki We are Best Friends.
Also, I noticed one book Biale We are Moving which is a sort of
scrapbook of the experience. Perhaps something like that would help?
I hadn't come across the Healthy Books site before. It looks really
useful, especially on the odd occasion that I work in our local Public
Library.

Hi all,
I hadn't realised Val had sent this to lis-medical (I got it on a local
list).
I suggested www.healthybooks.org.uk a site prepared by Elizabeth
Schlenther MCLIP down in Bath that presents books appropriate for
children with all manner of health / welfare issues. It includes a
section specifically on moving house.
It really is an excellent resource.
Cheers

Dear Val,
Not really about grandma moving, but a nice book about moving house is
'Moving Molly' by Shirley Hughes. There's a review on Amazon but it
looks as if it's out of print - there are some second-hand copies on
Amazon.
