Dear Emma
Practical Copyright for Information Professionals (The CILIP handbook)
2004 by Sandy Norman states on page 22:
"Libraries must make their own judgement as to how long they should be
kept, bearing in mind that accusations of infringement may be made for
up to six years plus the alleged year of making the copy."
I hope that this helps.
Regards
Sandra

Subject: Copyright declatations
Dear all,
This is a very quick query - the answer to which I should know off the
top of
my head, but I'm having a brain block!
Could someone confirm how long libraries need to keep ILL copyright
declaration forms for?
I'm thinking it's 5 years, but if someone could confirm I'd be most
grateful.
Kind regards
Emma Robinson
