I've also been testing with Inspiration 8 & WebCT Vista - it goes quite
nicely into the "header" space on a course home page. I've included
links to discussion groups etc., which is a little more fiddly, as I had
to get the links from the system in the first place & then include them.
But, I agree that you can upload a whole set of resources and the links
to them at the same time. Which is handy!
I'm not sure, though, about accessibility issues, if there's anyone in
the class using a screen reader. I'd have thought that you'd have to
have a set of links to the resources as well. I think, however, that for
many of the students who have cognitive difficulties - for whom mind
mapping is often promoted - this would make it easier. The text links,
though, are probably still useful for those students who don't quite
"get" mind mapping. (I'm not a great fan of it, I have to say, but so
many people are, that I'm trying my best to learn to use it!)
