Hi all
Heartfelt thanks to all who have responded so far to my query. You have been fantastic - and so prompt! esp. Debra, Cheryl & Sue.
Debra, you have saved me a lot of leg work. Many thanks indeed.
Sue, the savings on your system sound incredible! I'll phone you for more info.
And Cheryl, the photocopying charges here at Tameside used to be 5p until very recently. (Went up in January, just before I joined, so I take no responsibility!)
Thank you all again.
Cheers!
Roshanara

>We have so far have had a straightforward charging system – 10p a page and we have trusted users to be honest. And they have been , by & large. We are not complaining...
>
>However, the lease on the machine expires soon and we are wondering if we should go in for some kind of an automated charging method. I know there are quite a few of you using pre-charged cards. If any of you are in a position to advise, I shall be most grateful for your views, esp. if there are any down-sides to it.
>
>We are soon going to be open 24/7, so some kind of (non-human) control will definitely be needed. Pros & cons for the options available would be most useful.
>
>I did search the lihnn archives - without any success, so.... Sorry if this has been asked before.
