Les,
It is ironic that a lot of thought on the preservation of blogs appear
to have been written in blog posts. Most of these can be easily found,
but I would like to highlight a few articles that I have found to be
interesting:
The JISC Preservation of Web Resources (JISC PowR) project and blog

Blogger Perceptions on Digital Preservation
A PhD theses currently being written that touches on blog preservation

In the spirit of linking to blogs about blogs, I notice that Ed Pinsett
of ULCC (http://forum.dcc.ac.uk/viewtopic.php?t=237) and Dave Thomson of
UKWAC (http://forum.dcc.ac.uk/viewtopic.php?t=237) raise interesting
questions on the topic.
Finally, the Rogue Librarian and Meredith Farkas blogs mention several
organisations that are collecting blogs and other data for storage.

All the best,
