Dear all,
I’m attempting (with very limited Linux experience) to install FSL on a
Windows XP platform and am having trouble trying to unpackage the FSL file.
Whether attempting with the installer or via the individually typed gunzip
command, both give an "unexpected end of file" error message.
Some Linux blogs suggested that this message indicates that the file is
corrupted, so I re- downloaded it and got the same results.
Please see the screen capture jpeg below for my latest attempt, and let me
know if you have any suggestions for what I might try differently.
Additional info if relevant:
-I have the FSL_VM5_32 virtual machine functioning on VMware Player 2.0.3
[build 80004.]The tarball and installer were both downloaded to the same
windows c drive/program files folder named “FSL”.
-I couldn't figure out how to get to the windows folders through the linux
command prompt, so I shared the folder with the Linux environment via the
VMware player’s shared folder utility.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated,
K.Powers
