Perhaps if you located this high intensity voxel anatomically (i.e. its
relationship to the other masks), that would shed some light on the
situation.

Subject: [FSL] Waytotal/max intensity of fdt_paths
Hello,
I have a question about using fslstats to determine a maximum intensity of
the fdt_paths file.
I am trying to determine what would be a good threshold for displaying the
tractography results and was trying to determine the maximum intensity of
the fdt_paths file to find out the max number of streamlines that went
through a single voxel of the tracts. I use fsl_stats -R option to determine
this number. My max intensity is 6938, which is much higher than the
waytotal (5439). The tracts were generated by using a single seed mask with
a waypoint and a termination mask. I was wondering, why would the maximum
number of pathways passing through a single voxel be higher than the total
number of streamlines?
Sincerely,
Anastasia
