Korea Foundation-LSE Academic Exchange Programme Fellowship (Korean Fellow)

Salary £30,201 to £36,5637 per annum (pro-rata)
This is a fixed term appointment for a minimum of 3 months and up to 12 months
The Asia Research Centre at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) invites applications from prominent Korean scholars for its first Korea Foundation-LSE Academic Exchange Programme Fellowship.
A selected Korean Fellow will be invited to visit the Asia Research Centre at LSE for a minimum of three months up to 12 months during the LSE Academic Year 2008/09 and conduct her/his own proposed research.
Korean nationals who are either post-doctoral researchers, early to mid-career practitioners or professors of all grades in the field of social sciences from Korean academic/research institutions or relevant government agencies are eligible to apply, without regard to institutional affiliation.
Candidates should posses a doctoral degree in a social scientific discipline and have a proven or emerging track record of research and publications in a relevant field. Successful candidates will need excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
