Then they are clearly wrong and exclusive, because if one relies on self identification alone one
effectively allows the stigma that leads to denial.
An effective method identifies hidden and unexpressed disability.
If planning of services and legislation were to proceed on the basis of self identified disability
alone we would be back in the dark days of the green card and gross under-recognition of the
statistics.
Think Again!!!!
No wonder I have a certain degree of antipathy to disability arts.
