Hi ceri
If you haven't already seen it, have a look at Rebecca Solnit's book,
wanderlust - oodles of stuff in there. Then there's Merlin's book,
psychogeography (and see the TRIP conference website for lots of walking
stuff planned for this coming thurs, fri and Saturday in Manchester).
Also, check the links page of mywalks (www.northumbria.ac.uk/mywalks)
for some interesting stuff that will lead you elsewhere....
cheers

Subject: theory on walking
hi,
please can geographers refer me to recent work on walking that goes
beyond
de certeau? i have seen from the list that there are some interesting
initiatives going on, but am not familiar with the theory. i am trying
to
think differently about walking narratives in 60s quebec fiction set in
montreal.
thanks,
ceri morgan
