Thanks to Phil for the pointer to Sarah's article. I'd removed Ariadne's
RSS feed from my reader a while back when it became invalid, but plainly
they've fixed it now and it's good to see an interesting range of
articles on it. I was brought up short in Sarah's paper by:
"However, in 2004, CanCore released its most recent version, CanCore
2.0, and the UK LOM Core stalled in its development before reaching a
stable version 1.0."
Since when has the UK LOM Core had a stable version 1.0?? The last time
I looked on (what was?) the main UK LOM Core site
(http://zope.cetis.ac.uk/profiles/uklomcore) the LOM was stuck on 0.2
and had been for some years. Is there now a new site for the LOM? I
couldn't find another site with a Famous Internet Search Engine. Where
can we find the spec for 1.0?
Yeah, I know, I should get to SIG meetings more often... :(
Cheers
Fred
