I guess our website should be clearer. You can install Tcl/Tk and Python
from the files we provide on a Windows computer but only if you have a
compiler and are willing to slog your way through the Windows way of doing
things. (Generally those files are there for Unix people.) I would
instead recommend that you go to the Tcl/Tk and Python websites (and I
can't quite tell if you did this for Python or not) and downloading
pre-compiled binaries for Windows (and install Tcl/Tk before Python so the
latter can find the former). I'd also recommend Python 2.5 now.
