Salary: £26,665 - 30,013 per annum
This is an opportunity to work at the centre of a growing multi-disciplinary research team and in collaboration with the Universities of Bath, Ulster and Sheffield Hallam to deepen understanding of the potential for technology to support people in the management of their own health care needs at home. The aim is to make real improvements to the health and well-being of older people, disabled people and people with long-term conditions. Further information on the project can be found at: http://www.thesmartconsortium.org/ (smart 2). Applicants should hold, or be in the latter stages of research leading to a PhD. Applications from people with equivalent experience will also be considered. IT literate with experience in gathering, synthesising and presenting information in accessible ways, applicants should have skills in quantitative and qualitative research and ideally experience of health services research. The post is available immediately until 31 January 2012
