Archives Cataloguer and Project Manager
(fixed term for 1 year)
Salary £30,115 to £36,429 per annum incl. London Allowance

You will be based in a large, multi-site academic library service in
central London and play a major role in the implementation of the newly
acquired Archives Management System. You will act as Project Manager to
produce high quality online records to recognised international standards
for the prestigious archival and manuscripts material held in UCL Library
and organise the workflow of the cataloguing programme. Key tasks will
include archives cataloguing data input, new accessions processing,
supervising data-inputting activities, and publicising the benefits of the
system to a wide user audience, both virtual and physical, through training
and other events.
You must have a post-graduate qualification in archives management. You
should have experience of project work and of creating archival data, plus
a good working knowledge of international standards and experience of
acquisition procedures and processing of archives.
Experience of organising a cataloguing programme and experince of CALM
software would be an advantage.
