Hi Simone,
There are only small amounts of DNA sequence available specific to T.urartu,
but there has been comparative work done with other cereals that might help.
A recent paper I found is:
Genome. 2008 Jun;51(6):444-51.
Reassessing domestication events in the Near East: Einkorn and Triticum
urartu.
Heun M, Haldorsen S, Vollan K.
My first approach would be to search for the species in Genbank
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/ where all the public DNA sequences are lodged.
In the results, the PubMed link will give papers relating to the species.
The other categories will give links to the relevant DNA sequences, and each
DNA sequence has the reference to the paper it was published in.
Are you interested in the genetics of traits in the cereal, or more in DNA
for identification and resolving origins?
