Please find below the details of our latest contract position. This is
great chance to work and gain experience in the Oncology area.
Our client, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies is actively
searching for an experienced statistician to join their group.
This is a 6 month contract initially with excellent opportunities to
extend, ideally you will have at least 3 -4 years experience in either
a Pharma, Biotech or CRO.
You will be working in the Oncology therapeutic area, although
desirable, experience in this TA is not necessary.
Rates are very competitive and ideally you will be able to start in 2
months from an offer being made.
Job Description
* Responsible for all statistical tasks for assigned clinical
trials or projects in the Oncology therapeutic area and perform these
tasks with high level of independence. For example, clinical trial
design/planning, analysis plan, reporting activities, exploratory
analyses and statistical consultation; from phase I to phase III.
* Track clinical trial / allocated project activities and
milestones.
* Interact with the Method group as appropriate.
* Ensure timelines and adequate quality of all Biostatistics and
Statistical Reporting deliverables for the assigned trials and project
task.
* Follow processes and adhere to project specific standards as
well as Health Authority requirements (SOPs, Master Analysis Plan, full
development project specifications, and regulatory guidelines).
* Establish and maintain sound working relationships and effective
communication within the clinical trial team.
* At least Masters degree in Statistics (or equivalent degree).
* Fluent English, good communication skills.
* Knowledge of statistical software packages; strong knowledge of
SAS, S+
* High Degree of autonomy in performing assigned duties.
