University Grade 7: £30,912 - £33,780 p.a.
Applicants are sought from outstanding individuals for this new and exciting opportunity with an interdisciplinary research and teaching remit.
This new post offers an opportunity to work in a large, growing, and dynamic biostatistics group with an established reputation in medical and dental statistics. You will also benefit from working with leading experts in the field of epidemiology and biostatistics. A core responsibility will be the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate biostatistics teaching to dental students in the Faculty of Medicine and Health. You will also contribute to research within the Biostatistics Unit; the post will have balanced teaching and research responsibilities.
With an undergraduate degree in mathematics/ statistics or equivalent you will hold, or be nearing completion, of a PhD or MSc in applied statistics or equivalent. You will also have teaching experience within a relevant discipline, academic research experience, and a developing publication profile.
The post will suit an individual developing a career in biostatistics, since teaching training and research guidance will be provided to support existing experience and skills. The post is available immediately for a fixed term of two years, with the possibility of extension dependent on funding.
