eventually the authorities relented.
Meself, I don't know if I'd allow me a visa for anywhere, but as the
great Groucho said, I wouldn't want to be in a club if they allowed me
as a member (!!)
Otherwise, there's always Andrew Marvell (accent on the second
syllable of course)
