Hello all,
Yesterday I ran into problems with my site BDII which was no longer
publishing the dn GlueSiteUniqueID. After a rather long debugging
thanks to the help of E.Fede and G.Philippon, we discoverd that the
resource BDII on the SE-DPM was broken.
Specifically, the file /opt/bdii/var/tmp/GIP.ldif had an error
message in the top saying that the file :
/opt/glite/etc/gip/provider/glite-info-provider-release
was not found.
This is actually a broken link to :
/opt/glite/libexec/glite-info-provider-release
which did not exist on the SE.
I check that I have all packages :
yum install glite-SE_dpm_mysql
[...]
Nothing to do
rpm -q --whatrequires glite-info-provider-release
no package requires glite-info-provider-release
I have only the following glite-info-* packages :
rpm -qa | grep glite-info
glite-info-templates-1.0.0-8
glite-info-dynamic-dpm-2.2.0-4
glite-info-generic-2.0.2-3
=> Is this normal, what should I have on my SE and if some packages
are lacking, why does'nt yum do its job ?
glite-SE_dpm_mysql-3.1.12-0
Thanks,
JM
