Dear colleagues,
The resource center for cyberculture studies (RCCS) is an excellent
source of information for scholars and students interested in internet
research, cybercultures, on-line ethnography and new media more broadly.
Each month, RCCS publishes a set of book reviews and author responses
(http://rccs.usfca.edu/booklist.asp ). It's a great way to keep track of
new publications and ongoing intellectual debates. So read, enjoy, and
pass on the information.
Books of the month for june 2008 include:
/Disability and Contemporary Performance: Bodies on Edge/ by Petra Kuppers
/My Mother Was a Computer: Digital Subjects and Literary Texts /by N.
Katherine Hayles
/Technically Together: Rethinking Community within Techno-Society/ by
Michele A. Willson
There's more where that came from.
