Dear SPMers
I am using DARTEL for VBM analysis.
I followed all the steps, and now I will run the statistical analysis on the smwrc1.nii files and smwrc2.nii files
After I get my statistical results on DARTEL space, I would like to report them in MNI space.
1)Can I do that?
1A)If yes which steps should I follow?
2)If not, should I first transform the images in MNI space and then run the statistical analysis?
Thus:
2A)estimate the affine parameter to transform the DARTEL template to the MNI space first
(-sn.mat)
2B) then apply these parameter (-sn.mat) to each subject? But which image should I choose for each subject the rc1*.nii
From the manual:
– Apply to: Specify the images for that subject that you would like spatially normalised.
(Which images have to be specify?)
Note that the spatially normalised images are not masked (see the Chapter on
Realignment for more information here). If realignment parameters are to be incorporated
into the transformation, then this could cause problems at the edges. These can
be avoided by reslicing after realignment (which is the default option if you “Realign
Unwarp”). Alternatively, some form of additional masking could be applied to the
spatially normalised images, prior to smoothing.
Also this point is not clear for me. If one of the experts could get a bit of an explanation, I would indeed be grateful.
2C) then modulate the images
2D) then smooth the images
2C) finally run the statistical analysis?
Thanks
Best Regards
