Congratulations Sarah on a most eloquent piece of writing which relates SO 
well the many varied activities that our SIG has undertaken in this academic 
year and also for the future!

Also I wish to say that I submitted my thesis at 2pm yesterday afternoon. 
The final title for my project is: 'The Mentors' Practice:The Role Of 
Learning Theory; An Illuminative Study.'

I am now going to have a week or so's rest before preparations for my viva.

Dear All,

Jeremy Hoad, CEO of BERA wrote to me 2 weeks ago and asked me for an article
about our SIG's activities. He needed it immediately (or as near as
possible) as is often the case with BERA HQ's business and I attach what I
sent to him.  I heard yesterday (Sunday) that Ralf and Jeremy really like
the article and so it will appear in the next issue of Research Intelligence
- BERA's newsletter.

We've been productively busy as a SIG in 2007-8!
