Dear SPM community,
I am researching on fMRI with patients that have brain vascular
problems. A simple paradigm has been used in a subject who moved his
knee in a blocked design. Movement was low, but it was quite correlated
with the paradigm temporal course (in fact, you can see what was the
course by watching movement_graph.PNG, where 'knee movement' corresponds
to 10-20, 30-40, 50-60, 70-80 (first session, red color in the results
image), 90-100, 110-120, 130-140 and 150-160 (second session, blue color
in the results image).
I would like to know what you think about the shape of the activations,
which are very big and rectangle-like shaped (see results.JPG). Do you
think they could be spourious movement-related or vascular
disease-related "activations"?
Thanks in advance for any comments,
Juanjo
