LECTURER / SENIOR LECTURER, SOCIAL DETERMINANTS OF HEALTH AND PUBLIC POLICY
Applications are invited for this post in the Centre for International
Public Health Policy at the University of Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with expertise in global
public health or health policy. We would encourage all applicants with a
strong research record in international health and public policy,
regardless of discipline. We are particularly keen to recruit an individual
who will develop new research and teaching in epidemiology and the social
determinants of health. Working in the rapidly expanding Centre for
International Public Health Policy, they would be encouraged to draw on the
excellent opportunities for multi-disciplinary collaboration, especially
with Public Health Sciences, to help take forward its programmes of
teaching and research. They will be able to bring their knowledge to bear
on international, UK, and Scottish public health policy. Applicants for the
senior lecturer post will be expected to demonstrate an impressive track
record of teaching and research, and to have the ability to contribute to
CIPHP’s strategic development.
