Press Officer (Ref V20.08)
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Media relations is central to the work of the Society. Whether it is stem cells ,the use of animals in research or the UK’s place in space exploration this role will involve presenting the views of the Society on the major, high profile policy issues in science. You will also be involved in promoting the latest scientific breakthroughs. The ideal individual will have a demonstrable interest in science, engineering and technology, an understanding of the major policy issues, and a first class track record in a busy press office or newsroom.
