A reminder that the deadline for voting in the PSA Awards is TODAY. I
haven't been indundated with suggestions, but can offer the following
ideas for nominations from Sarah Childs with an addition from myself
(no obligation at all to follow these, this is just an idea of
potential women nominees for anyone wanting some inspiration):
· Lifetime Achievement in Politics – Shirely Williams
· Parliamentarian of the Year - Theresa May/ Baroness Amos
· Political Journalist of the Year – Martha Kearney
· Best Political Satire - Diary of a Notting Hill Nobody Tamzin LIghtwater
· Setting the Political Agenda Award - Fawcett Society
· Sir Isaiah Berlin Prize for Lifetime Contribution to Political
Studies - Pippa Norris/Vicky Randall
· Special Recognition Award (to the discipline of Politics) – as above
