Dear colleagues,
The new journal, Journal of Foot and Ankle Research, the official journal
of the Australasian Podiatry Council and Society of Chiropodists and
Podiatrists (UK), is soon to be launched by BioMed Central.
Journal of Foot and Ankle Research is an open access, peer-reviewed online
journal that encompasses all aspects of policy, organisation, delivery and
clinical practice related to the assessment, diagnosis, prevention and
management of foot and ankle disorders.
Submit your research to Journal of Foot and Ankle Research and take
advantage of an efficient online submission process, a rapid, high quality
peer-review service, and immediate publication upon acceptance. There are
no color charges and no limits on the number of figures or embedded movies.
The published version of your article will be immediately placed in PubMed
Central and other freely accessible full-text repositories. This complies
with the open access policies of many funders including those of the
Howard Hughes Medical Institute, NIH, and Wellcome Trust.
To enable the journal to make all of its content open access, Journal of
Foot and Ankle Research levies an article processing charge for each
manuscript accepted after peer review. Please note that if the submitting
author's organization is a BioMed Central member, the cost of the article
processing charge is covered in full or in part by the membership. If you
are a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists or the
Australasian Podiatry Council, you will not need to pay the fee.
Journal of Foot and Ankle Research is now accepting submissions. Submit
your manuscript via our online submission system. For more information
about the journal, contact [log in to unmask] or visit our
journal website (www.jfootankleres.com).
Yours sincerely,
A/Prof Hylton Menz
