On a slightly different tangent al of our computers are loaded with a programme called Workpace. This requires DSE users to take short 'microbreaks' and longer 3-5 minute Work Pace Breaks. The Work Pace breaks will give a different set of exercises to follow.
The softwear also logs the break compliance, keyboard/mouse work, work intensity etc. This is useful in analysing the wrk pattern of a DSE user.
Since starting a new job where I am tied to a desk almost 12 hours a day I started getting various aches and pains. By following the work pace exercises I am much better.
It won't solve your resent problem, but it could be something worth looking into for the future.
