Hi Glenn,
The Trust ruling cannot apply to an individual's private life where they
have no influence or jurisdiction. The only way that anyone can be made not
to socialize with a given individual, and for that ruling to be enforced, is
by a Court Order. We are (I think despite Government initiatives) possibly
still a democratic, and free country!!

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Contact during suspension
Hello
could I have thoughts on the following please?
If a member of staff has been suspended and told (by HR) that they must not
come onto Trust premises or have contact with any staff does this apply
24/7?
For example, if they had a work colleague who was also a friend 'out-of-
work', are they only supposed to not have contact during their contracted
37.5 hours a week? Can they be dictated to as to who they see out of work
and in their own time?
Obviously if they didn't tell HR they'd had contact they probably wouldn't
know, but where do you draw the line?
regards
Glenn
