I would suggest that Findrington is Fen Drayton and Pedley Bridge is
Pateley Bridge.
If you have not already done so I would suggest that try to obtain
manuscript copies of the relevant CEBs. You are probably looking at
transcribed interpretations and your view of the originals may well be
different. Alternatively you could search the 1891 census on Ancestry
using the soldier's names you have and compare the place of birth.
