Re: Edward VIII postboxes in my locality (London Borough of Barnet) 3 are noted in a newsletter report of a lecture given to HADAS (Hendon & District Archaeological Society). This says:
'... Although Edward VIII was not crowned, there are about 150 letterboxes that survive. There is one in Elliot Road, Hendon, East Finchley High Road, and Wagon Road in Hadley Wood.'
