Hello all,

Further to this - slightly further down the accomodation page on the HLG site there is a link to the Cardiff Uni accomodation office.

You can get a centrally located ensuite sans breakfast through them for a shade over £25. I understand more than a few folk from the conference will be staying there.

Cheers

Alan

Hello Mark -
When I checked the web site given by the conference organisers, I was astonished to see how expensive the prices were (and as an ex-Cardiff girl, I know those hotels!). If reasonable accommodation is wanted, there's an excellent TraveLodge....right in the centre of town, too!

At the risk of enraging the list police, a mildly off-topic comment on the HLG conference - the Cardiff conference accommodation service seems to show some hotels booked up, but in one case at least the hotel's own web site (in my case Royal Hotel) shows availability, and at cheaper prices.

(And there's always laterooms.co.uk) Just in case you're getting round to organising yourselves for July... see you there...

Mark.
