Prof Mike Kelly, Dr Gillian Leng, National Institute for Health &
Clinical Excellence: Health behaviour and the role of NICE.
Dr Elizabeth Murray, University College London E-Health Unit: Using the
internet for behaviour change.
Prof David Armstrong, King's College London School of Medicine: The
science of behaviour (change).
Workshops will include Willem Kuyken on mindfulness based therapies and
Tom Lynch on the use of virtual reality tools in behavioural research.
Call for Abstracts: Abstracts are invited for workshops, structured
discussions and oral or poster presentations. Proposal forms are

The deadline for submission of abstracts is Friday 6th June 2008.
Preference will be given to abstracts which cite results (or for those
where authors will be in a position to update abstracts with results by
the time of the conference).
We are also seeking proposals for workshops, or structured discussions
of 90 minutes duration. All workshop and discussion proposals should
include an interactive component and the definitions and criteria for
submission are detailed on the proposal form. The deadline for
submission of proposals is Friday 6th June 2008.

epidemiologists, health psychologists, medical sociologists, health
economists, statisticians, nurses and all others interested in
behavioural medicine to participate.
