LECTURER / SENIOR LECTURER IN MATHEMATICAL MODELLING
The Department of Health Economics (formerly the Health Economics Facility) is a university department within the University's Medical School and has sponsorship from the National Institute for Health Research as an academic unit.
The department seeks an able mathematical modeller with a strong track record of both published research and teaching, preferably with some health economics experience. Depending on experience and/or qualifications, the successful candidate can be appointed at either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer levels. The post holder will play a leading role in the department's programme of health modelling research activities of international repute, including both methodological and applied research, to complement the existing research work of the department. Further, the appointee will contribute to the delivery of, and strategic thinking in relation to, our teaching programmes. The department and its setting in the Medical School provide a stimulating research and teaching environment with a commitment to the twin goals of high standards and policy relevance in all of our activities.

Salary range: £34,793 - £52,628
Starting salary for a Lecturer in the range of £34,793 to £41,545 a year (potential progression on performance once in post to £46,759). Starting salary for a Senior Lecturer in the range of £42,791 to £49,606 a year (potential progression on performance once in post to £52,628).
