Overview:
The assessment of quality of life is one of the key issues in the
economic evaluation of new health care interventions and technologies.
Over recent years, several alternative approaches have been proposed
to measure health-related quality of life. The purpose of the workshop
is to discuss the relative merits of these methods, potential
differences and the implications for conducting economic evaluations
in practice. It will also provide an opportunity for researchers to
present current research.
The workshop will comprise three sessions:
(1)What can we use to measure health related quality of life?
(2) How can these measures be used in practise?
(3) Overview of current research
