conference being held at UBC in Vancouver from June 4 to 5, now is the
time to register!
I am attaching with my email a copy of the conference program that was
provided to me by the conference organizers as it is not yet available
on the Internet (I was given permission to publicize the conference).
The program for the CDSA-ACEI conference includes over 40 presenters
with the keynote address by Dr. Michael Prince on the topic of The
Internationalization of Disability: Implications for Community Groups,
Nations States, and Inclusive Governance. Professor Michael J. Prince
is the Lansdowne Professor of Social Policy in the Faculty of Human
and Social Development at the University of Victoria, a position he
has held since 1987. Professor Prince is the author, co-author or
editor of 10 books, as well as more than 150 articles, chapters and
monographs in four fields: public policy and public administration,
including Canada-Aboriginal relations; social policy and practice;
public pensions and retirement policy; and, disability issues.

Membership fees for CDSA-ACEI are handled separately from the
conference. There will be a "welcome desk" for CDSA-ACEI at the same
location Congress registrants sign-in/register and you can pay any

The CDSA-ACEI is #293 for the Congress and charges fees as follows:
$80 for members, $50 for retired faculty and $40 for students.
