The School of Geography, Politics & Sociology invites applications for a 3 year fixed term Lectureship in Economic Geography, to join the Centre for Urban and Regional Development Studies (CURDS). This post is to replace Dr Andy Pike for the duration of his involvement in the national Spatial Economics Research Centre. An essential requirement of the post is that you should have expertise in the field of local and regional development. You must have completed your PhD (or be close to completion) and be starting to make an impact in the discipline. Some teaching experience is essential. The post is available from 1 September 2008.
