Salary: £25,310 - £36,880 per annum
Applications are invited for a Research Associate to work in the Institute for Mathematical Sciences at the South Kensington Campus.
You will work on "Decentralised data and information systems-Modelling large, complex, dynamic systems with heterogeneous, uncertain, and imperfect data sources".
Working under the direction of Professor David J Hand, you will have a PhD or equivalent in statistics, machine learning, or a closely related discipline, and have extensive
computational skills and experience. Particular interests or expertise in sensor networks and analysis of streaming data are highly desirable.
This position is available from October 2008 for two years.
