Astbury Marsden is currently mandated by one of the leading global
economics consultancies to source an econometrician to join the team and
grow the econometrics offering.
This position is for a statistician and econometrician who boasts academic
credentials (MSc minimum – PhD preferable). Your skillset would need to
span time series and micro econometrics and an interest in industrial
organisations is essential, even if you do not have specific experience in
this space.
This is a new offering for the organisation, an interest in developing
commercial acumen and a drive to grow the offering would be commended.
This organisation is well known for competitive salaries and bonuses and
an LLP structure ensures employees benefit as the company continues to
grow and prosper. Flexibility to travel or take secondments globally also
makes this role an attractive option to economists and econometricians
alike.
This firm is specialist in providing advice on all economic aspects of
competition law assignments. They offer practical and professional advice
that is effective, concise and readily understandable to a non-economic
audience. They draw on a wide experience of competition issues and
institutions, and many years of working closely with Europe's leading law
firms in cases spanning all sectors of the economy.
They have worked across a broad range of competition law settings,
including merger, cartel, and abuse investigations, litigation,
regulation, and restrictive agreements cases, at both European and
individual member state levels.
It would be my pleasure to discuss this role and company in more detail,
