Complex Trait Analysis
This post offers opportunity to take a senior position in building a new team working on complex trait analysis in the MRC Human Genetics unit within the Institute of Genetics and Molecular Medicine in Edinburgh. The team will work on numerical methods and data analysis in humans and other species with the aim of understanding the genetic control of variation in complex and quantitative traits. The appointee will also have the opportunity to develop their own research programme.
The applicant should have a PhD in an appropriate subject with strong numerical skills in quantitative genetics, statistics, bioinformatics or similar. They should have previous post-doctoral experience undertaking genetics or genomics research.
