We at Eli Lilly and Company are currently looking for a Project
Statistician to join our European Statistics team.
Established nearly 132 years ago Eli Lilly employs over 41,350 people

The Project Statistician is responsible for:
• Providing technical statistical consultancy to post-submission studies
(clinical trials, Observational Studies, and other data-related
research) within the Lilly Oncology European Medical organization
• Develops or assists in the development of clinical plans, protocol
designs and statistical analysis plans in collaboration with physicians,
health outcomes scientists and other medical/paramedical colleagues
• Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of statistical methodology to
statistical methodology in order to maintain proficiency in applying new
and varied methods and to be competent in justifying methods selected
• Oversees the analysis once a reporting database is created by
collaborating efficiently with third party organizations and/or
conducting analysis themselves.
• Communicates study results via manuscripts or oral presentations.
This role is a highly technical position and within this the skills
required are:
• MSc in Mathematics or Statistics, or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of statistical theory and methodology, with
working knowledge of experimental design and statistics.
• Strong self-management skills with a focus on results for timely and
accurate completion of competing deliverables
• Pharmaceutical Experience and experience in Oncology are advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and demonstrated
effective customer consultation and presentation skills
• Strong project management skills, in order to successfully work in a
Team
• Proficient in the SAS programming language
• Fluent in English – both oral and written
• Work effectively in virtual teams and within an environment where
documentation and quality are essential
