Hello everyone,
I thought you might be interested in attending the following event -
If you would like to book a space, please let me know and I will forward the booking form. This is to big to post on accessibuilt.
Access Association National Event: 10th June 2008, National Media Museum, Bradford
CPD - Lifetime Homes - Lifetime Neighbourhoods
The theme for this years CPD at the AGM is "Lifetime Homes - Lifetime Neighbourhoods", taking its cue from the "Lifetime Homes, Lifetime Neighbourhoods: A National Strategy for Housing in an Ageing Society" recently launched by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), the Department of Health and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
We have an exciting programme exploring the national strategy with delegates from a broad mix of professionals and user representatives who have a stake hold in the built environment such as planners, architects, urban designers, developers, disabled and older people's representatives.
Attached is information about the event. We have secured the services of a number of nationally recognised experts who have agreed to speak at the event and be part of the panel who will take questions from the floor later in the afternoon.
The afternoon CPD session will be open to non members of the Access Association; consequently this event has a limited number of spaces available, so book early. As you can see the cost for the afternoon is only £50 and will provide 3hrs of CPD on this very important and topical subject.
We are sure you would find the day both informing and challenging.
If you would like to book a space, please let me know and I will forward the booking form. This is to big to post on accessibuilt.
Regards
Sharon
