Hi Caroline
You may want to contact Glasgow Metropolitan College as they have
translated several of their library guides into 12 languages - though
I'm not sure how they did it :-

An alternative might be to produce a podcast about the library. You
could get existing students or staff to narrate in their native
language. A few universities are doing this now. Here's an example from
Birmingham :-

Hope this helps.

Hi,
At the moment we are in the process of investigating whether or not our
library handouts should be duplicated in different languages for the
ESOL students. We have hit a bit of a barrier in terms of finding
someone who will carry out the translation at a reasonable cost.
Would it be possible for you to let me know if any of your library
guides are produced in other languages and if so how you did it?
Many thanks,
Caroline Rushton
