Dear sci comm community,
I would like to introduce you to the website we have just launched: BBC
Bloom. It’s all about personal climate change action.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/bloom/
The main focus of Bloom is to offer a tailored approach, where people can
sort through the messages on how they can make a difference. They can
quickly understand what’s right or wrong for them by tapping into a rich
mix of lively and robust editorial - based on reliable science.
We reflect on controversial actions such as local food, flying and eating
less meat.
It’s a beta version, so its very much at the fledgling stage, waiting to
bloom once people start using it!
We started the site with 50 actions and will add another 25 or so in the
next couple of weeks.
Feel free to spread the word and send me feedback,
All the best, Laura
